Aw thanks so much Gale! ❤️
I am 75 years old and seem to be gaining weight. My water aerobic class and arthritis class (because of resistant training) gives me pain in wrist and biceps.
I also have LPR which really limits my diet. I cannot have chocolate, mint, black pepper, raw onion or garlic, any citrus fruits, lemon and blueberries make my larynx feel horrible!! I found my LPR after coughing 24/7 for one year. Going to my primary, allergist and pulmonologist – which no one did diagnose me) Through prayer at Church led me to find Dr Kouffman on YouTube. Following her advice, I got rid of many symptoms – but will always have diet restrictions. (Need low fat and low acid foods) Bread is my kryptonite:)
Hello Autumn,
I have started following you and am feeling better than ever with fewer sugar cravings than I have ever had in my life. I am 64 years old. My husband and I are working on our weight loss journey with you. I started in April and am down 20 pounds. My husband has also lost 20 lbs. I am drinking protein shakes for breakfast, and struggle to find foods I enjoy for lunch and dinner. Sometimes I have Greek yogurt bowls, but I don’t like the protein powders with monk fruit or stevia. I choose unflavored (your brand when I can get it.) but I have to choke it down most of the time. I also eat cottage cheese but have not found one I enjoy. I like it on the dry side. I’m not giving up. Hoping to get used to the flavor of these foods. We have found a few meals we like though this is the most frustrating part of this journey for me. We are now planning a 2-week trip across country (with our 1-year-old great dane) and we are packing our food for the trip. We have a kitchen available when we get to the east coast. Do you have any ideas for me? I would appreciate any suggestions. Also… thank you so much for what you do. Even though I struggle to plan meals that I like, I feel better than I ever have!!!
