Over 30 grams of protein with this warming, cinnamon-y cookie in protein smoothie form. Creamy and delicious with one secret ingredient.
This recipe uses an ingredient that you likely haven’t test out before in a smoothie… pears!
Because this recipe is loaded with quality sources of protein, fat and fiber, it’s a great option as a fast and easy breakfast or lunch to help support a body recomposition goal.
Pears are naturally low glycemic load and high in fiber. In fact, one pear has about 7 grams of fiber. To put this in perspective, most people need about 25-30 grams of fiber in a full day.
Plus, if you don’t love the taste of bananas, slicing up and freezing pears are an amazing swap that still provides some slightly sweet goodness and creamy texture.
This smoothie is packed with 30 grams of complete protein to help support a body recomposition goal. We also used blood sugar stabilizing fats from almond butter and flax seed to boost satiety hormones and help prevent hunger.
