Tell us about yourself!
I’m a 41 yr old female who has been overweight most of my life.
Which Program did you follow?
What was your main wellness goal?
I’ve been serious about losing weight since January and incorporated strength training 3 days a week with your Intermittent Fasting Program. For this 6 week summer program I wanted to focus on eating 40g of protein at every meal and walk 10,000 steps everyday. I kept my focus small so it was more achievable.
Did you have any hesitations before starting the Program?
A little. It seems like a lot of food to eat until satiated. Especially when all I hear about is eating in a deficit.
What has been your biggest wellness win with the Program?
My clothes are fitting better and it’s not hard to turn down treats because I’m not hungry and I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
What was your favorite recipe from the Program?
I made the tropical lemon chia pudding the most. I like to meal prep them for my work breakfast. I added pineapple as my fruit and it tasted like glorified rice. So good!
Did you have any "nutrition nerd" moments?
I feel like I had an epiphany when I increased my protein to 40 grams. I don’t think I have ever been this satisfied in my life and losing weight. It was so weird not being hungry.
Is there anything else you would like to share?
I’ve lost 24 lbs since January, but 10 of those pounds were during the challenge. I’ve also lost 4.8% body fat and gained 2.8 lbs of muscle
