To celebrate, I'm sharing a brand new, protein-packed smoothie recipe that you can sip on all challenge long ~ my Cinnamon Roll Protein Smoothie š
Scroll down for the recipe!
This smoothie is loaded with high quality ingredients to help support weight loss and wellness goals... and tastes DELICIOUS, of course!š
The key ingredients include:
My Zero Sugar Protein Powder
This smoothie gets 20 grams of complete protein from my zero sugar, pasture-raised protein powder.
Protein is a key nutrient needed to help support a body recomposition goal (where you lose body fat without losing muscle mass). (1)
Plus, it uses monk fruit extract (without sugar alcohols!) to make it naturally zero sugar.
Pssst - don't have my zero sugar protein powder? You can find it HERE.
Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup of Greek yogurt adds another 10 grams of complete protein to this smoothie, bringing it in at a total of 30 grams.
Unsweetened, full fat dairy products (like Greek yogurt!) are linked to less obesity and weight gain.(2)
Fermented pasture-raised dairy products naturally contain vitamin K2 which promotes bone and heart health.
Brazil Nuts
Brazil nuts are *loaded* with selenium, which plays an important role in liver detoxification.
Flax Seed
Flax seeds contain the plant-based form of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids (called ALA).
Maca
Maca has been found to help reduce fatigue in young women. (3)
Studies have also found that it might help to improve mood and energy. (4)
