Tell us about yourself!

I’m a 32 year old former 2nd grade teacher and now I use my passion for education to coach teachers all over Southern California! I have a big loud Italian personality and use meditation/routines to help myself stay grounded. I’m the youngest in a large family and grew up raising goats. My favorite animal is a great white shark and I am the wife to the most handsome surfer ever and mama to the cutest pup, Luna!

Which Program are you following?

21 Day IF Program and Detox. Now I am moving onto the Level Up Hormone Balancing Protocol.

What was your main wellness goal with The 21 Day Intermittent Fasting Program?

Increased energy, focus, and less bloating.

Have you tried anything in the past?

Ha. Everything. Whole30, TIU, 21 day fix (beach body).

Did you have any hesitations before starting?

Yes! I have always been critical of anything to do with fasting. I felt like it wasn’t good for you until I learned the science behind why. Also, I love breakfast and the sooner I could have it the better-old mentality. The thought of waiting through my fast really scared me but I am happy to report the transition was easier than I thought AND Keto coffee really makes everything all worth it. I actually like waiting to eat so I can thoroughly enjoy it and not rush!

What’s the biggest change you experienced?

Less stress since I didn’t have to plan out 5 meals anymore! Also, about 3 months in, my bloating decreased immensely!

What is your favorite meal?

Oh. Man. Keto coffee? Haha I love the tumeric lentils bowl from the detox and the Blueberry Hemp Smoothie.

Did you have a Nutrition Nerd moment? 🤓

My moment was when I first listened to the Burpees in my 30s podcast on IF (Intermittent Fasting) and Autumn discussed how IF gives your cells time to rest and repair. I remember thinking, “Oh my gosh duh. We give our muscles rest days, so why are we not giving our digestive track rest time?” It was a life changing concept.

Is there anything else you want to share?

I’ve definitely made it my own and learned to listen to my body. I think sometimes when you get a new plan or nutrition style, it’s easy to get obsessive but remembering that you are an individual and there is no ‘one size fits all’ is super important to keep in mind. Bend it to your needs and don’t stress yourself about it.
