Tell us about yourself!

Hi everyone! I’m Jennifer and I was born and raised near Pasadena, California.  I’ve lived a few different places throughout my life, from Hawai’i to Canada. I am currently living in Phoenix, Arizona but plan on moving back to sunny California in the near future.  I work as a nanny, but my dream is to work with exotic animals one day.

Which Program are you following?

I followed the 21 day Intermittent Fasting Program.  I began with the 7 Day Detox.  Looking forward to starting the Level Up Program!

How did you find AEN?

I found the amazing Autumn on Youtube!  I had a vague understanding of Intermittent Fasting, and was doing it my own way for about a month or so. I felt like I wasn’t doing IF properly, so I went on YouTube to see if I could learn more about this type of eating style.  Autumn was the first video I clicked on.  What caught my eye was her smoothies at first! I am in love with smoothies, so I was excited to see what recipes worked for IF.  After I watched her first video, I watched another, and another.  Not only did she give great recipes, she also provided nutritional information about the ingredients that went in them. But what really made me want to try her program was the way she explained intermittent fasting, and the science behind it.  She answered every question I needed answered to better understand IF.

What was your wellness goal with the Program?

My wellness goal was to lose my tummy fat, which in turn would help me to develop the abs I’ve always wanted.  I wasn’t happy with where I was physically.  I am 5’1″ and petite, and was 120 at my heaviest. For my body type, I personally wasn’t happy with the little extra fat here and there. And with my short stature, even a little extra fat made me look heavier than I actually was. So, I wanted to change it.

What else have you tried in the past to achieve your goals?

In the past, I’ve hired personal trainers, bought at-home dvd programs, and tried going to the gym on my own.  I learned great information from each of these methods, but something just wasn’t clicking. Most programs I tried just told me what to eat and when to eat without giving any information as to why, so I lost motivation because I didn’t know why I was doing it. I believe Autumn’s program was such a success for me because of the in-depth detail she went into, from the benefits of the food that went into her recipes, to the science behind IF. 

Did you have any hesitations before getting started?

I had no hesitations before starting the program.  I had watched many of Autumn’s YouTube videos, looked through her website, and read testimonials from people who had also used her program. After doing my own “research” I was 100% confident in Autumn’s program and excited to see the results it would bring.

What were the biggest wellness wins that you experienced?

My biggest wellness win that I experienced was fat loss.  This was my number one goal so I was thrilled with it!  Along with this, I also gained more knowledge about nutrition and the science behind how food affects my body.  All the information I learned I can now use to maintain a healthier me for the future!

What was your favorite meal?

I loved all of the smoothie recipes! I am a smoothie addict, haha. I also really enjoyed the Scrambled Eggs & Greens, the Superfood Pancakes, and the Coconut Chia Pudding.

Did you have a Nutrition Nerd moment during your journey?

I did! I was quite intrigued with the detox step of the program, and the importance of cleaning the liver before being able to have success with intermittent fasting.  But the biggest Nutrition Nerd moment for me was learning everything that went behind intermittent fasting and how it positively affects so many aspects of your body’s health.

Do you drink Keto Coffee or Keto Tea?

I actually don’t drink coffee or tea, so I never tried the Keto Coffee or Keto Tea.  But I’ve heard amazing reviews about both!

It there anything else you want to share about your experience?

My gratitude for Autumn and her program is unending. I can’t thank her enough for creating a program that breaks down the process of intermittent fasting in a way that was easy to understand and follow.  I wouldn’t have been able to meet my fitness goals without her.  My journey with her Intermittent Fasting Program was amazing, but not one without my own personal frustrations and setbacks. There were times when I fell off track and would get fast food because it was more convenient than cooking, or eat way more sugary treats than I should have.  But that’s what is so great about this program! Even if you have those bad days, you have the nutritional knowledge to get right back on track from where you left off. Autumn’s encouragement, kind personality, and knowledge is what drew me to her, it’s what helped me through the program, and it’s what keeps me motivated to stay on track after.  For anyone beginning their journey with Autumn, I am so excited for you!
