Cottage Cheese Cookie Dough

I first started making cottage cheese cookie dough as a way to satisfy my sweet tooth during my postpartum weight loss journey without having any refined flours or sugars.

This cottage cheese cookie dough recipe is super high in protein and contains zero added sugar… but still tastes like a sweet treat!

Each serving has 17 grams of complete protein to help fuel your body and shut off hunger.

My top tip when making cottage cheese cookie dough: Look for a low sugar (or zero added sugar) dark chocolate chip brand.

I personally like the brand Lily’s because it tastes great without being loaded with sugar.

Cottage Cheese Toast

If you want the world’s fastest warm breakfast, here it is!

Cottage cheese toast can be as simple as three ingredients: cottage cheese, toast and fruit.

The longest part of this meal is waiting for the bread to finish getting toasty.

I like to make my cottage cheese toast with either a paleo bread or a real sourdough bread. Both of these are low to medium glycemic load and therefore better for a weight loss goal than traditional bread.

You might also notice from the picture above that I pair my cottage cheese toast with a super tasty, warm “jam”.

I like to make a fast and simple chia jam with frozen fruit (in this case, blueberries) and some chia seeds. This keeps the sugar content low while also sneaking in some helpful fiber.
